Less than 5 minutes off I-10, and located in north central Cochise County, Dragoon offers the safety, peace and quite of country living yet, within an hours travel one can get to all that Cochise has to offer as well as a lot of events in Pima and Graham counties. 

Depending on if you are traveling by interstate or back country road, the 40 mile radius shown here, represents a time of travel between 40 minutes and just over an hour to most locations. Getting to the heart of Aravaipa Canyon Wilderness or Mount Graham (trout fishing), due north of Dragoon (north of Fort Grant) is the lone exception as when the improved roads stop  and one travels by unimproved dirt roads often traveling under 20 miles per hour for the rest of the journey.  

Even Sonoita and Bisbee can be reached in about the same time (or less) as getting through a traffic jam in the big city.
